Review of a primer

Introduction;

Basically a primer is the first step of makeup. It can be either gel or hydrating spray or lotion. It creates a layer between your makeup and skin. This is what everyone wants, that makeup doesn't clogg their pores and they don't have that pachty look too.

Benefits;

  • First and very important benefit of a good primer is that it protects your skin from the aftermaths of having heavy makeup. It creates a layer between your skin and makeup so if you're using any bad quality foundation or you're skin is sensitive to makeup it prevents you're skin from breakouts / pimples.
  • A good primer also smoothens your skin and makes your foundation to blend well. Most of us don't have that perfect skin so everyone wants that it doesn't cause them to look imperfect having flaws.
  • Some hydrating primers like mist sprays hydrate your skin and minimize the white patches on your face and prevent your skin from patchy look.
  • Using primer before foundation minimize your large pores that's the best thing I swear. Many of us do have large pores problem to using primer is of much help. Not every primer minimizes your pores but there are some primers in the market that are pore eraser.
Using oil or serums as a primer is also a life saving for dull patchy skin. It also nourishes your skin giving equal smooth skin.

My recommendation;

Maybelline baby skin instant pore eraser.

  • Here's my most favorite primer. It erases large pores as the name indicates. It works amazingly giving your skin baby like softening and minimizes the large pores. It is very light weighted and it's soft texture blows my mind away.
  • It's non- allergic and non-reactive.
  • Very easy to use
  • Inexpensive,  available in around 900 pkr
  • Suitable to all skin types

Rating;

Obviously 10/10
Highly recommended.
